The location is stunning right on the water. Our room was spacious with an amazing view and a big bathroom. Everything was spotless and comfortable. The breakfast in the local café was a great tip from reception. I would definitely come back!

The Deluxe Triple Room featured stunning views that made each morning feel special. The utilization of key cards and codes streamlined access to the room, adding a touch of modern convenience.
The absence of any on-site breakfast options was disappointing, forcing guests to seek meals at another location later in the day. room 101 on the lower ground floor offered only a restricted sea view, detracting from the overall experience. The room's simple amenities fell short. it felt more like a basic setup than what you’d expect from a hotel, especially with columns obstructing the view. The residents' lounge came off as empty and uninspiring, highlighting a lack of thoughtful facilities.

The Deluxe Triple Room with Sea View had a lovely layout and an impressive view that made waking up feel special. It was nice to enjoy a meal in the restaurant that featured a beautiful setting, adding a nice touch to the dining experience.
There was a persistent bad smell in the corridor outside the room that was hard to ignore. Not having staff on-site felt a bit off and made some aspects of the stay a hassle, especially for those not keen on tech. Unfortunately, the room was too warm for a comfortable night's sleep, which wasn't ideal for resting. the service felt lacking, particularly with delays in clearing plates and the pricing being higher than expected for the quality offered. Lastly, noise from neighboring rooms was a real issue, ruining the peaceful vibe of the place later in the night.

Is it really that good? my take
Spotlessly clean rooms with breathtaking views over Lough Swilly! The modern design felt luxurious—I simply loved waking up to such beauty.
No staff on site left me feeling unattended! And breakfast needed reservations elsewhere, which wasn’t convenient for an early start.

beautiful location and amazing sea views. the room was good sized and comfy. ate at the restaurant next door and the food was excellent. the self check-in was a bonus, no waiting around! loved the rustic vibe of the restaurant too.
the shower had weak pressure which was kinda disappointing. also, breakfast being served late at the pub was not ideal for an early start.

The Triple Room was super comfy with a big bed and nice pillows. We had an amazing view of the lough, and the room was really clean. Loved the peaceful vibe. Only downside was there wasn't much space to move around luggage, but overall, a great space to relax!
